Hot Honey Carrot Apple Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 crisp apple, cored and grated or thinly sliced
  • 1 large carrot grated
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp minced chives
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Dressing

Instructions

  • Put all of the salad ingredients in a mixing bowl. 
  • Put the dressing ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until well combined. Taste the dressing and adjust to your preferences for level of spice and sweetness. 
  • Toss the dressing with salad and stir until well coated before serving.

Notes

Use this again: You can add leftover chicken to this for a unique chicken salad for lunch the next day, or add this to a green salad for more nutrition.
For one or two servings: Recipe can easily be halved or doubled.
Store leftovers: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days.
