Grilled Leeks

Instructions

  • Preheat a gas or charcoal grill over medium high heat.
  • Cut the leeks in half lengthwise and lay on a sheet pan, cut side up. Brush with avocado oil and season with the salt and pepper. Grill cut side down until lightly charred and softened.
  • Sprinkle with a dash of Colima Sea Salt before serving.

Notes

Leeks are often very dirty inside so you’ll want to wash them well to remove dirt and grit. To do so, slice them in half and carefully rinse them out without removing the inside pieces.
